People to see, places to go

During our shoot with Mortan yesterday, Jan Anderson from Steinprent passed by and invited us for a visit to his studio. We were floored by Jan and Fríða Matras Brekku’s workshop and on our way out Karoline declared this is what she wants to spend her next life doing. We hope to one day make a limited edition Eyes as Big as Plates print at Steinprent.

With Heiðrún Hödd Guðmundsdóttir’s and Jógvan Arge’s help at the KVF radio, we now have 6 hours of stories by Mortan in Faroese. Across the road at Nordic House we met up with Urd Johannesen to talk about Eyes as Big as Plates at the Faroes, and we got a tour around this building made out of all things Nordic.

Some ten minutes out of Tórshavn, the temptations down the hill made us stop for materials, before driving to the  northernmost island of the Faroes, Viðoy. We have got to come back to Føroyar to do a shoot at Viðareiði.
