Marie-Ange and the weeping willows in Paris

Marie-Ange was the last one dancing at yesterday’s Parisian opera soirée and we were floored in awe. Today she told us she was in Paris only to escape the tragic loss of her beloved aquarium fish. We were lucky to share the afternoon with her and the weeping willows by Lac Daumesnil. Together with her daughter Beatritz, she sings in “Terra Maïre” (“Mother Earth”). Their repertoire is rooted in the South of France, in medieval and sacred melodies in Occitan, language of troubadours and Cathars.
