Our eyes find it hard to adjust to the mind-blowing scenery. For the last 24 hours we have been pointing left and right, saying “this could be a good location, this could be a good location, this could be a good location”. We are simply spoilt.
Staying at the SÍM (Samband Íslenskra Myndlistarmanna / The Association of Icelandic Visual Artists) right in the city centre, we were welcomed warmly by Hildur Yr. She proved out to be a geyser of knowledge on the local flora, fauna and old people – we are huge fans of Hildur.
We will stay in Iceland for one week and aim to post updates daily.
