Winter Games with Eyes as Big as Plates

Eyes as Big as Plates has landed in Southeast Asia, just in time for the Seoul Artbook Fair 2017, UNLIMITED EDITION 9. In the next two weeks we will also be roaming the mountains of PyeongChang before heading to Japan, lucky us!

Hosted by Gallery FACTORY and Vice versa we have set camp in the heart of the Olympic bonanza, in a village called Cha-hang. We are about to start producing new works for a public art commission that will be exhibited on Seoullo, a newly renovated former highway turned into a pedestrian walkway. This is part of a series of art projects in celebration of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics 2018. The exhibition on Seoullo, SIGNAL LIGHTS. CONNECTED. will be open to the public from January 18th to February 28th 2018.

Before that though, we look forward to seeing you all at Gallery FACTORY, right in the heart of Seoul for the Eyes as Big as Plates book launch this coming Friday at 4 pm.

Address: 127-3 Changseong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul. Welcome!

The Cha-Hang community house welcomed us with an underfloor heating and a feast fit for queens. Four of the regulars might be our collaborators for this week’s photoshoots and the final results will be exhibited on Seoullo. © Karoline Hjorth & Riitta Ikonen
