A large selection of Eyes as Big as Plates works, including some never-before-seen newbies, will be exhibited as part of the Norwegian pavilion at the 77th Edition of Festival D’Avignon in France!
Founded in 1947, Festival d’Avignon is one of the world’s leading contemporary performing arts events. Every July Avignon turns into a city-theater, and the festival programme includes shows, readings, exhibitions, films, and debates. Invited by the French-Norwegian Plexus Polaire and its director Yngvild Aspeli, who has curated this year’s Norwegian Pavilion, sixteen Eyes as Big as Plates works will be exhibited in various outdoor venues throughout the festival area between 7th – 24th of July.
