Gearing up to a Leap Day exhibition opening in Bergen!

We are counting days to the opening of the most comprehensive Eyes as Big as Plates exhibition ever! We have been indoors, on our screens a little bit more than usual this winter to prepare for this nimble show. We hope you can join us this Leap Year Day!

Nearly 50 works, including 20 brand new ones from our residencies with The Conference of the Birds in Selvær, the UNESCO North Karelia Biosphere Reserve and Land Art Gjerdrum, as well as texts, sculptures, videos, field notes and process images will fill the beautiful Gyldenpris Kunsthall in Bergen.

Riitta will be beamed to the party and artist talk from New York via the magic of internet, while Karoline will toast with all you fabulous festive folks in person! More info on how to join the party online like Riitta coming soon. All the accurate small details below.

Two days after the opening, as part of the ‘Earthworks’ exhibition taking place in Bergen Kunsthall, you can hear Eva Bakkeslett talk about her project The Conference of the Birds and our collaboration with her, the eider ducks and the eider duck carers on the island of Selvær. Another great reason to visit the city!

Exhibition opening at Gyldenpris Kunsthall, Thursday Feb 29th at 6 pm – 9 pm, Wernersholmvegen 33, 5232 Paradis, Norway. The exhibition is up until April.

Talk by Eva Bakkeslett, at Earthworks, Bergen Kunsthall, Sat 2 Mar 14:00. Rasmus Meyers allé 5, 5015 Bergen.

Welcome!
