Danish delights

Grand bows to Øhavsmuseet in Faaborg for inviting us to create a new exhibition in the South Funen UNESCO Geopark in Denmark! Hats in the air to the museum’s head of exhibitions Mette, for prepping these furious nine days of production and for being the best timekeeper/ catering boss/ travel agent/ bike fixer/ donkey out there. These endless sunny days scorched our pale Nordic faces and we are typing this with a centimetre layer of aftersun.

Bicycling amongst the hares and pheasants on the islands of Lyø and Avernakø, we collaborated with six islanders at sunrise and sunset shoots. Big pumping thanks to the entire star crew: Susi, grey poplar, Annette, fiddleheads, John, antlers, Jan, Nordic wasabi, Persille, seaweed, Flemming and eel grass.

The exhibition will open at Øhavsmuseet early next summer and this duo will return for more this September — stay tuned!
