Eyes as Big as Plates is taking part in the group show When The World Shimmers, which opens at the old National Gallery in Oslo tomorrow as part of this year’s Oslo Negativ photography festival.
Curated by Stephanie von Spreter for the Bjørka collective, “the exhibition is inspired by Hartmut Rosa’s notion of resonance, approaching passion as a vibrating relation between bodies, environments, memories, materials and forms of life. Where indifference produces distance and numbness, resonance makes us receptive: we become touchable by the world, capable of being moved, troubled and changed by it.”
Oslo Negativ takes place over three consecutive weekends in Oslo, Norway, from October 10to October 25.
